Well, I have read the required chapters and feel the book is great in information in a easy to follow way which is great for me since I am a beginner DTC student, and have 0 prior prerequisite in the Major. I was brought up with a large family of medical, science, and engineering family members and math and science is the field I was pushed into. Two credits away from finishing at CBC in Business I changed majors and school. Art, though I have never studied it has always been my passion and hobby, I've always been rewarded in my work for thinking outside the box and using imagination. A lot of the names and artists from the reading I do not know, but am truly amazed by how lines and color changes appearance of viewers prospective. For an example on page 11 they explain line use and share example of cover images, I can see that the lines shares the plot for the story taking place and how important understanding how different shapes and line shift meaning in art.
