RAFAEL LOZANO-HEMMER

I have been doing some research of RAFAEL LOZANO-HEMME, his work is very interesting to me his Main interest is in creating platforms for public participation, by perverting technologies such as robotics, computerized surveillance or telematics networks. I really like seeing work that has participation from viewers and this piece I found reminds me of the piece previously blogged about by aus Des Lehrers building art contest.... Both are done through participation of application, viewed publicly in large cities and both of course containing light imaging and are very beautiful. I really would like to conduct or participate in one of these active pieces.

RAFAEL LOZANO-HEMMEH has had over 65 exhibited pieces of work and has published many books as well as taught at many prestigious Universities. This work is more recent in 2012! but he has been around since 1990 when his first exhibit was shown called the Dancers Answer Questions, Banff National Park, Banff, Alberta, Canada.....
