Let the Artwork Convince you Not the Brand

I Think Bejamin Genocchio (don't ask me to pronounce this) Makes a good point in his article posted in ArtnetNews 

He talks about how new artists have to brand themselves in fashion rather than be themselves to sell and if this is not accomplish they tend to fail to succeed within the art community. Genocchio really likes seeing unbiased work that can be viewed freely by the public where us as viewers can decide wether the art is good or bad....  

This article has really good points and just reminded me how everything we see often is because the branding is big and the advertising budget is there. Your not going to see the mom and pop shops on your big TV stations during commercial time your only going to see what is already profiting.
